PARIS, September 28 — Tourism Malaysia is stepping up efforts to attract French travellers after arrivals from France increased 7.9% in the first half of 2026.
Malaysia welcomed 116,232 French visitors from January to June, up from 107,735 during the same period last year. Tourism Malaysia returned to IFTM Top Resa in Paris with industry partners.
Including Malaysia Airlines and tourism representatives from Sarawak and Lenggong. The agency is promoting culture, nature, food and adventure experiences.
Under the Visit Malaysia 2026-2027 campaign, with Perak, Sarawak and Sabah among destinations being highlighted to the French travel market.
