GEORGE TOWN, September 22 — Lim Guan Eng said Anthony Loke’s resignation as Transport Minister would be a major loss for Penang, crediting him with securing federal approval.
For more than RM21 billion in transport projects. Lim said the projects include the RM16.8 billion Mutiara Line LRT, RM1.55 billion Penang International Airport expansion.
RM2.2 billion Penang Port investment, RM500 million Swettenham Pier project and RM30 million for KTM stations.
He said Loke’s decision reflected DAP’s position on accountability over the 1MDB scandal and disagreement with Najib Razak’s conditional pardon.
