HANGZHOU, September 24 — Anthony Loke said he remains firm on resigning as Transport Minister despite Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim urging him to reconsider.
“The decision has been made,” the DAP secretary-general said during an official visit to China. Loke said he would submit his resignation letter to Anwar after returning to Malaysia.
His decision followed DAP’s response to Najib Razak’s conditional pardon, while the party has decided to remain in the unity government and retain its other ministers and deputy ministers.
