KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 – Petronas Lubricants International (PLI), global lubricants manufacturing and marketing arm of Petroliam Nasional Bhd, has opened a new office in Sydney, Australia, today. In a statement today, Petronas said the office marked PLI’s business expansion to form a wider Asia-Pacific portfolio.
“With the establishment of PLI Australia Pty Ltd, PLI will be able to better serve its customers in Australia and New Zealand. The office also aims to capture four per cent of the market share in both countries by 2021 and increase the company’s volume of sales by 32 per cent,” it said.
PLI Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer, Giuseppe D’Arrigo, said Australian and New Zealand’s motor vehicle users would value the superiority of Petronas products. He said that the premium products for passenger cars have been tested and proven to exceed expectations in Formula One. He also added that they are confident that the total product offering will deliver optimum driving performance and reliability to the customers and positively contribute to PLI’s robust growth in the Asia-Pacific.
