IPOH, Aug 23 – Youth and Puteri UMNO should always be actively using social media to counter the false accusations which are often spread opposition against the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin said the aims and objectives of the opposition simply wants to unseat the Barisan Nasional (BN) which has been working hard to develop the country.
“I can see if there are some issues in the BN government, barely 24 hours after they left assortment (speculation) in social media. However, when the issue is raised as the issue of the establishment of Selangor Darul Ehsan Investment Group, not much was raised in social media,” he told reporters after opening the Tambun Umno division delegates meeting here Sunday.
He is also the Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry claimed that the opposition often twist the facts for thinking people want to spoil that support the BN government. In this regard, he said the members of the two wings of the need to ‘fight’ false accusations opposition properly and prudently.
