GEORGE TOWN, Nov 2 – Permatang Pasir assemblyman Datuk Mohd Salleh bin Man hold a press conference on Monday at Penang Chief Minister office at Komtar here urged NST to retract the statement immediately which what the press reported are illegal persecution. He denies he has withdrawn his support to the Penang government which the claims made in a Oct 31 report in an English language daily with the title “Penang PAS rep ‘won’t support state govt'”.
“For the record, I have never been interviewed by any reporters from the NST. Therefore, I would like to ask the NST to retract the statement immediately. My victory is in the spirit of cooperation Pakatan Rakyat. On top of that spirit that I will continue to support the Pakatan Harapan Penang government,” he said.
“I will also support Lim Guan Eng as Chief Minister of Penang and also will defend him and the State Government. In the meantime, I will also continue to serve well as representatives of the Permatang Pasir assemblyman,” he lastly added in his speech.
