SHAH ALAM, Nov 23 – The Selangor Umno on Sunday refuted a claim by former PAS president Datuk Husam Musa that UMNO and PAS was planning to form a unity government in Selangor. Selangor Umno deputy liaison chairman Mat Nadzari Ahmad Dahlan rubbished the idea, saying that there was no cooperation, especially of political nature, between UMNO and the Islamist party.
In the meantime, he also said that there has been no meeting been made by both parties towards that end. He told this to the reporters after opening the ‘My Rezeki Festival’ programme here on Sunday. He was commenting on a claim by Husam, in a video-recording of a ceramah held at Pasar Kedai Mulong, Kota Baharu in Kelantan.
In additional, he was also shared on Husam Facebook, that PAS and Umno were working to form a unity government in Selangor. PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang had regarded Husam’s claim as baseless as the party cooperate with Umno only on matters of interests to the country and its people.
