GEORGE TOWN, November 2 — Penang will provide a special financial assistance payment equivalent to one month’s salary to state civil servants.
Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow announced during the 2027 budget presentation. The payment recognises the contributions of public employees to the state’s administration.
And financial performance. Eligible religious school teachers, staff and Chinese independent school personnel will also receive separate one-off payments.
