KUALA LUMPUR, November 7 — Malaysia’s Transport Ministry said MyJPJ user data is not automatically shared with Nile Tech Sdn Bhd through the application’s vehicle insurance renewal service.
In a written parliamentary reply, the ministry clarified that the service redirects users to Nile Tech’s external portal, where transactions are conducted separately.
Information voluntarily submitted on the portal is governed by Nile Tech’s terms and privacy policy. The ministry said the company’s appointment provides an alternative insurance renewal channel.
