KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 – PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has conveyed her condolences to the wife of Former Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, Datin Tuan Sabariah Tuan Ishak, her children, and their families as well as PAS over the loss of their Spiritual leader.
Nik Abdul passed away at his home in Kampung Pulau Melaka at 9.45pm today after battling prostate cancer. Wan Azizah, who was speaking on behalf of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, their family and PKR, said that Nik Aziz’s contribution to Islamic development was too great to be expressed. “Let us pray for Allah to bless him and be placed among the righteous. God willing,” she said in a short statement.
