GEORGETOWN, March 6 – YB Senator Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun having a press conference this afternoon at MCA Penang office. “Today I would like to talk about the issue of a woman crushed to death by container at bas stop in Penang. After this issue happen until today, Y.A.B never giving any visit or concentrate on this case. It also not just giving the summons to the company which is carry overload in the container,” said YB Senator Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.
“I’m unhappy to the government due to there are unfair to my family. The container is parking there more than 10 hours but there are no any councils taking the action. It is not about federal or state road problem. State government must be at the first party to respond and settle the problem. Meanwhile, there were no any condolence sending by state government. MPPP also never say sorry to our family about this issue,” said P’ng Yew Seng (Victim Brother).
“Lastly, we will giving fully support and provided them as the assistance. Besides that, I would like to urged the state government that he must to give us the stand to protect and care of the safety of people,” said YB Senator Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.
