SHAH ALAM, April 2 – PKR president, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail may contest the Permatang Pauh parliamentary by-election if asked by the party However, she said the decision would be made by the PKR leadership in a meeting to be held soon. “The party will decide. We will have several meetings and if I am chosen, I will have to defend the seat again.
“It will be up to the voters. I know them and have served there (Permatang Pauh) and only made way for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim when he was released from prison,” she said. She also did not dismiss rumours that her daughter, Nurul Nuha Anwar may also be chosen as a candidate. “The final decision is left to the party,” she said when met at the Selangor State Assembly lobby.
