PERMATANG PAUH, April 23 – Secretary UMNO which a part of Permatang Pauh, Suhaimi Sabudin announced as a candidate representing the BN in the by-election on May 7. Suhaimi who have academic qualifications from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is also a member of UMNO branch of Guar Jering. Barisan Nasional announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the BN Operations Centre Bandar Perda on this Thursday.
Suhaimi Sabudin, 44, has been named as Barisan Nasional’s (BN) candidate for the upcoming Permatang Pauh by-election to contest in the PKR stronghold. He is also a Permatang Pauh Umno secretary which described as a “leader in the making” who projects a “youthful” and “young blood” image for the party, as wanted by Umno leadership.
“I known well in Permatang Pauh as I’m staying at here. I have been actively involved in Umno since 1992,” said Suhaimi Sabudin. “Permatang Pauh by-election candidate was not a easy task for everyone as it came with big responsibilities and challenges,” said Muhyiddin at Bandar Perda here today.
“However, Bn has an expressed confidence that chosen the right candidate to become the voice of the people at Permatang Pauh,” added Muhyiddin. Lastly, Muhyiddin also asked for Permatang Pauh people to give BN a chance to bring forwards the greater heights through the representative there and also create a history in that area which can develop and improve In Permatang Pauh.
