GEORGETOWN, May 23 – Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng having a press conference today at Komtar here to announce that the Penang Anime Matsuri 2015 – Summer Party which will be held this weekends at Dewan Sri Pinang and Esplanade, Penang.
Penang after the first of Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2015 in February, now Penang was going to another ‘first’ which is SOZO and Penang Global Tourism geared up all to present the best of Japan’s pop culture at Penang’s Esplanade and Dewan Sri Pinang on 23rd and 24th May 2015. The first ever indoor and outdoor anime event will add colour to Penang’s Esplanade and Dewan Sri Pinang.
The PAM2015 features a whole list of exciting activities throughout the day such as Japan’s latest animated movies, anime merchandise and trilling Xcape games. At nightfall, the festival moves outdoors to the Matsuri Zone, Anime Night Market and Anisong & DJ Party Stage, where singers Mike Kobayashi, yanaginagi, Anisong DJs Hachioji-P and DJ’TEKINA / SOMETHING a.k.a Yuyoyuppe will be performing.
Ticket price for Penang Anime Matsuri 2015 – Summer Party at Free access area was free entry. In the same time there was a charges RM10 per day for Exhibition, RM128 for the concert (includes 2 days of exhibition).
