KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 – Malaysian badminton ace Datuk Lee Chong Wei will be faced the sixth-seeded of Wang Zhengming, China in the third round of the Taiwan Open Badminton Championships. For the former World No. 1 have been beaten the 10th-seeded Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia which a score of 21-12 and 21-18 in 41 minutes to set up the encounter with Wang this evening at the Taipei Arena.
In the same time, Wang Zhengming was the World No. 7 which had beaten Malaysian Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin with the score of 21-18 and 21-15 to advance of the third round. At the Canadian Open and the American Open Gold Grand Prix, Lee Chong Wei was still a fresh from his victories in Taiwan.
He had skipped several international tournaments when he was under suspension by the Badminton World Federation over a doping case during the eight months. After serving out the suspension by the Badminton World Federation, he finally win the bronze medal at the Singapore SEA Games 2015 for Malaysia.
