GEORGETOWN, July 29 – Chief Minister YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng today had urge the Prime Minister Najib Razak to explain to the people of Malaysian that why the Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was dropped as deputy prime minister after he criticism on 1MDB issues. Lim Guan Eng said yesterday Cabinet reshuffle which culled Tan Sri Muhyiddin and several ministers from the federal administration are those who recently questioned Datuk Seri Najib handling of 1MDB.
If they were removed due to questioning the 1MDB scandal then it is something that Malaysians and Foreign investors will not accepted as Tan Sri Muhyiddin was not involved in any scandal or any major controversies. The Penang Chief Minister said that the Cabinet reshuffle is all part of punishment to any one who question the government over 1MDB scandal and this is a big issue to all of us.
“We won’t know what is the effect of this move but we will see it. In the same time, Penang state executive council who also met this concerned over this issue in this morning,” he added. In the same time, Mr Muhyiddin had also asked Mr Najib to clarify the issues which related to the 1MDB scandal with causes he reshuffle the position in a few days prior. Lastly, Mr Muhyiddin also claiming that the reshuffle could cause the downfall of Barisan Nasional (BN).
