KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 25 – Coalition of pro-establishment NGOs leader Jamal Md Yunos hold a press conference today said that about all 30,000 activists who would participate in a protest against Bersih had been prepared mentally and physically due to today activists was prepared themselves for the possibility of violent in the confrontation with the Bersih demonstrators which will be held on this coming weekend.
Jamal was leading the demonstration outside the Sogo shopping complex. Some of the participants was exhibited their physical prowess which hitting each other with using the wooden poles, smashing limestone bricks but sometimes smashing against their own heads.
Jamal said they will be gather together at Low Yat Plaza on this coming Saturday on 9am and walk towards to Dataran Merdeka. In additional, he said that all of the participants also been informed to the possibility of assaults and they will be volunteered to participate due to we just want having a peace life in our country
“Although today demonstration was just a 160 people took park but I believe that anything might come over our way during the Bersih 4 rally. Therefore, our group also will be call off if Bersih decided to cancel their protest at Dataran Merdeka. During the rally anti-Bersih demonstrators will be wearing the red T-shirts which are bearing with the slogan of ‘Bersih 4 Keamanan’,” he added.
