KUANTAN, Aug 25 – A New Hope Movement leader (GHB) on Monday urged all elected representatives who opposed the establishment of the PAS party should resign. Deputy Coordinator of GHB Pahang, Syed Hamid Syed Mohammed said that this was because PAS has violated the agreement in advance when ‘parted’ with opposition parties, which violated allegiance made before.
“The problem is only one oath but the affected party that violated the oath how? (When PAS is violating an agreement with sever ties with DAP). I was in the state assembly Kuala Adoption of Waterville won with a majority in Parliament 2,000 and only win (because of) the votes of Chinese (PAS information chief, Nasarudin Hassan won in Parliament Tuguegarao) meaning victory was helped by friends opposition which many of the Malay vote lose,” he said.
He told the reporters that they have to adhere to the opposition and when they decided they wanted, the consensus was already breaking allegiance, so they have to resign rather than our elected representatives. Also present were the coordinator of the New Hope Pahang, Dr Hamzah Jaafar. Earlier, Chairman of GHB Mohamad Sabu also urged all members of parliament and PAS assemblymen to resign on the grounds that their victory was the result a joint ticket with the Opposition.
Previously, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang ask all elected PAS representatives who want to join a new party to resign for violating the party allegiance. Meanwhile, Hamzah said he would not appeal PAS members to join GHB, otherwise it is up to them alone. He said Mohamad Sabu party is expected to launch in Pahang on 12 September in Temerloh.
