KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 – The Bersih 4.0 street rally which organising by the Bersih 2.0 Steering Committee Maria Chin Abdullah are starting this morning. The purpose of the rally are calling the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s resignation over his handling of 1MDB issues.
About hundreds of citizen had started matching and chanting the word Bersih while the yellow t-shirt with the word of Bersih is banning by the government yesterday. The police also seem to circulate around the tourist areas. In the same time, there were also over hundreds of citizen had fill up at KTM and LRT Station in Kuala Lumpur while waiting the KTM and LRT to Dataran Merdeka.
A woman Elaine Ching while waiting at Kepong Sentral KTM said that she was ready to rally today since three weeks ago. She said they sold the T-shirts to collect money for the purchase of bread and mineral water. In the same time, she said that they are also not happy with the donations of RM2 billion into the account of Najib Razak and also Low Yat incident which had happen on July. That’s why we took to the streets.
