PETALING JAYA, Sept 1 – The daughter of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a series of rants on Facebook on Monday has slammed Bersih 4 supporters for taking it to the streets in the name of defending the country. She had described the protest as a kerja bodoh (stupid work), and that was better for supporters to join the army.
“If you really want to defend the country than go and join the army and patrol the borders. Go and join the military patrol in east coast waters of Sabah, you may experience all kinds of operations at there. Don’t think that you can be proud just because you’re wearing the yellow than you got to be in the newspapers and TV,” she said
Nurulhidayah said that street protests were not relevant on today, “as the world watches us descent into chaos.” She said she will not say much about this. In the same time on her opinion, the Bersih protest rally was a FOOLISH WORK, or in simpler term, STUPID WORK. Her Facebook posts have since gone viral on social media.
