PASIR SALAK, Sept 5 – Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi reminded Umno leaders not to be a culture of ‘ostrich’ whether at the branch or division. Ahmad Zahid who is also vice-president said he does not want to be among the leaders who just let go a burden to others. Also present were members of Parliament Datuk Seri Pasir Salak Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, who is also the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry.
“The people will going to attack if there are riots to come but he (ostrich) will just hiding his own head. If want to be a bird then to a bird correctly. To be a camel than to be a right camel’s. We often to forget what we have but we also expect that there were something new because we never feel satisfied with what we got,” he said when opening the Umno division delegates meeting Pasir Salak 2015 here on Saturday.
“f culture ‘ostrich’ was planted in Umno leaders, the party would forge a failure and not easy to regain that trust. The split of the Malays not because of it is attacked from the outside rather is due to the party’s internal conflicts, disagreements and dissatisfaction,” he said.
Ahmad Zahid said that when used as a culture of hatred, that’s the split is most easily done. He added although we are weak, it was also because of the split in the ground. Meanwhile, Ahmad Zahid, who is also the MP for Bagan Datoh announced an allocation of RM400 million to build a bridge which linking to Sungai Dulang, Bagan Datoh and Hujung Rintis, Pasir Salak.
