BANTING, Sept 6 – The Kuala Langat Umno Youth together with 10 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Kuala Langat lodged a police report against the organizers and participants of the rally Bersih 4 for stamping on pictures of national leaders. UMNO Youth Chief Kuala Langat, Jefrizal Mohd Jaafar, said there were 11 separate police report was made to the police with may conduct an investigation and legal action will be taken.
“This report was prepared for the police to investigate and to take action against perpetrators and organizers of Bersih provocation that failed to prevent participants from committing seditious. We also want the police to investigate the incident of participants stepped on a picture of two leaders which is the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang in the assembly,” he said.
He told reporters after lodging a police report at the police headquarters in Kuala Langat here on Saturday about the offense is a provocation too and can bring anger to the members of both parties. Among the non-governmental organization in Kuala Langat who lodged a police report is the 4B Youth Movement, Perkasa, Traders and Entrepreneurs Association of Malaysia (Perdasama) and the Association of Martial Arts Gayong Maarifat.
