MIRI, Nov 6 – A total of 550 pupils from three primary schools located in the town area and interior of Bintulu were unable to continue their school session today due to floods. The Sarawak Education Department said, the three schools were Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Nyalau, SK Kuala Kebulu and SK Sungai Bukit Balai, involving 550 pupils, 52 teachers and 20 non-teaching staff. He said in a brief statement issued in Kuching here on Thursday that the schools that are closed need to replace classes on Saturday.
