GEORGE TOWN, Dec 4 – An accident occurred at Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu expressway near to Eastin Hotel this early morning. The incident was happen at about 5:46am, a man was burnt to death in his Proton Wira after lost his control and hit the van. The seven other passengers in the van including the driver sustained serious injuries are currently seeking treatment at Penang Hospital.
Besides that, before the Proton Wira burst into flames, the deceased was stuck in on it. Bayan Baru Fire and Rescue Department officers had arrived at about 6.01am to extinguish the flames and extricate the victim’s body out from the his Proton Wira. The Bayan Baru Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the victim was burnt in the incident and his body had send to Penang Hospital for a post-mortem.
