KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 – Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has arrived at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here this morning to attend the UMNO general assembly 2015. He was arriving with his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali at about 8.25am this morning. He said invited by party vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Nov 28, 2015.
In the meantime, UMNO deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was also arriving for the start of the UMNO general assembly 2015. He said he would be present at the assembly from start until the end despite not being allowed by the UMNO supreme council to deliver a speech. Also arriving for the event were MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and MIC president Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.
