KUALA LUMPUR, DEC 10 – UMNO president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak reminded actual task, deputy and vice citing a rule in the party constitution. According to him, he was responsible for key leaders and responsible care of the party. However, he said that the clause 9.8.2, with bright literally detailing the main task and responsibility, of a Deputy President, the clause that says, ‘Vice President of assisting the President.
He said as for the clause 9.8.3 of the responsibilities and mandate of the vice-president declared, ‘Vice President of his work assisting the President’. He said this in his policy speech at the UMNO general assembly, here, today. Turning to the responsibility of all, he warned that UMNO members have the right to express opinions to the party, but must go through the proper channels.
In the meantime, he also touched on the war of perception through social media, which is considered as the biggest challenge to the party. He said some of the issue, deliberately exploited, accused and exaggerated. He added that the catching of the white, things ‘half truths’ can also be ‘absolute truth’.
