KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 – A new Blue Wave (Gelombang Biru) team will be formed to counter attacks made online against UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) more effectively, said UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Ahmad Zahid, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, said he and Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, who is also UMNO vice-president, would be responsible for setting up the team and to coordinate its strategy.
“In the meantime, the new Blue Wave should be more focus and coordinated in the addressing issues which raised by the enemy,” he told the reporters at the press conference in conjunction with the 2015 UMNO general assembly, which is in its fourth day on Friday.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Zahid said this when asked on the absence of the Blue Wave team counter attacks by the Red Bean Army, which was raised by delegates at the assembly. Hishammuddin, who is also Defence Minister, was also present at the media conference here.
