KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 – UMNO vice- president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi Saturday visited and spent about half an hour visiting media personnel covering the Umno General Assembly 2015, at the media centre, the Putra World Trade Centre, here.
Some of the Media personnel who were listening to the debate on religion and education motion also took the opportunity to take pictures with the Deputy Prime Minister. When asked on his prediction on the Malaysia Cup final result between Kedah and Selangor tonight, Zahid quipped “I support whoever wins”.
Sixty-eight registered media agencies comprising 455 local and 13 foreign media with 1,778 crew are covering the event which enters its last day on Saturday. Ahmad Zahid was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Hamidah Khamis, Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim and Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed.
