KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 18 – PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) advises users of its highways to follow its travel time advisory (TTA) during the year-end festive season. Its managing director Datuk Noorizah Abd Hamid said the concessionaire has issued the TTA which is applicable from tomorrow until Jan 3, 2016.

“Meanwhile, the TTA plays an important role in assisting the public to plan their journeys. It is estimated traffic volume will rise by about 15 per cent to about 1.5 million vehicles daily on the North-South highway during the peak periods of the festive season,” she said.

Besides it being the year-end school holidays, there will be two public holidays next week, Maulidur Rasul (Dec 24) and Christmas (Dec 25). A massive exodus out of the Klang Valley is expected ahead of Dec 24 and the reverse after Christmas and the cycle repeating in heralding the New Year. More information on the TTA can be obtained by calling toll free PLUSLine at 1800 88 0000, visting Twitter site PLUSTrafik or downloading the ‘PLUS Mobile’ application.
