KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26 – Traffic flow on the north-south expressways heading for the federal capital was reported to be moving slowly this afternoon and the volume of traffic is expected to increase up to tonight. A spokesman of the Plus Expressways Sdn Bhd Traffic Control Centre said that as of 5 pm Saturday, traffic flow from the north was reported to be moving slowly at the Seberang Jaya area; Bukit Tambun heading toward Jawi, Penang: and Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit, Perak.
Traffic flow from the south was also reported to slow in the Senawang to Seremban area, and Ayer Keroh heading to Simpang Ampat, Melaka, the spokesman said. He said the rise in traffic volume since 1 pm today is expected to continue until tonight.
