KUALA LUMPUR, November 4 — Maxis has introduced Malaysia’s first telco-provided Mission-Critical Communications (MCC) solution, designed to improve connectivity.

For emergency responders, security agencies and frontline personnel. Showcased at CyberDSA 2026, the system provides priority access to Maxis’ nationwide mobile network for voice, live video and data communications.

The technology enables field teams to communicate directly with command centres, particularly during emergencies when public networks become congested.

Maxis said the solution combines push-to-talk communication, live video and real-time information sharing to strengthen coordination, operational readiness and emergency response capabilities.
