GEORGE TOWN, November 4 — Rapid Bus has pledged full cooperation with authorities investigating a fatal collision involving a Rapid Penang bus and motorcycle in Bayan Baru on Tuesday night.
The company said its Route 401E bus was travelling from Jalan Mahsuri towards Jalan Mayang Pasir when the collision occurred at a traffic light junction around 11.33pm.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, while the pillion rider sustained injuries to her arms and legs. The bus driver suffered minor facial and finger injuries from shattered glass.
Eight passengers were aboard the bus when the incident occurred.
