GEORGE TOWN, September 18 — Tang Mei Yun Taiwanese Opera Company will return to Penang in October to stage its signature production The Princess and the Hunter.
Organised by George Town World Heritage Incorporated, performances will run from 3pm to 4.50pm on Oct 10 and 11 at Majestic Theater Penang.
A free 60-minute opera movement workshop will follow each performance. Admission is free but ticketed, with public collection scheduled for Sept 25 and 26 at the GTWHI office.
The Taiwanese-language production, featuring young artists trained by Tang Mei Yun, will include Mandarin and English surtitles.
