GEORGE TOWN, Nov 1 – Straits Quay was celebrating Halloween Fest wraps up with Trick-or-Treat that adorable “witches” could be seen playing hide-and-seek with a group of “wizards” on one end of the Straits Quay Retail Marina while playful “fairies” were laughing away at a “zombie’s” joke on the other corner.
More than 200 children donned in an assortment of Halloween-themed costumes were all set for a Halloween treat organised by Straits Quay today as the mall celebrated its 5th Trick-or-Treat session. This year’s trick-or-treat event saw participants as young as three years old following the troupe on the parade as they made a brief stop at every entrance of their 25 participating tenants.
Meanwhile, the mall was filled with an air of festivity from the chatter of the cheerful children as they thronged the mall collecting candies and goodies from the retail outlets. Throughout the night there was merriment punctuated with squeals and laughter as the mini “ghosts” and “ghouls” paraded around the mall.
