GEORGE TOWN, Nov 25 – The PDC Deepavali open house was held at PDC lobby here on Tuesday afternoon. Also present were Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, Deputy Chief Minister II YB Prof. Dr. P. Ramasamy, State Housing and Town & Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo and General Manager PDC Y. Bhg Dato’ Rosli Jaafar.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said here on Tuesday that the State Government wants to make Penang an Entrepreneurial state in which the generator of wealth on encompasses all including the businesses, employees, the community, the public sector and the creatives and innovation.
“In order to establish this, the State must make investments in infrastructure, education and the creative and innovative industries. In the meantime, the State Government has also signed an agreement between PDC with Temasek / EDIS for the development of BPO Prime valued at RM1.3 billion in the development of this PDC to establish Penang as one of the global outsourcing hub in the future,” he said during attended to the PDC Deepavali open house here on Tuesday.
“While, the management is still in ongoing discussions with Temasek to finalize the sale of land, the company’s corporate structure and design of the building. In additional, Mayang Mall PDC are also expected to be take place in June / July 2016. However, I would like to inform you that after the BPO Prime prepared, PDC will be relocated in its own building,” he added.
