KUALA LUMPUR, October 2 — Kuala Lumpur City Hall has allocated RM28.12 million for phased maintenance and upgrading works at PPR Batu Muda, Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh said.
The improvements are expected to benefit more than 10,000 residents at the public housing development.
Completed projects include replacing 21 lifts for RM11.69 million, road resurfacing costing RM1.46 million and a RM278,000 playground upgrade.
Yeoh urged residents to protect the upgraded facilities and make cleanliness a daily habit, saying excessive spending on cleaning could reduce funding available for future development.
