GEORGE TOWN, October 15 — The Penang Hill funicular service resumed normal operations at 11.50am Wednesday following a temporary disruption caused by wheel repair works.
Penang Hill Corporation (PHC) earlier announced at 10.15am that the service was temporarily unavailable while maintenance teams carried out necessary repairs.
The operator initially estimated that services would resume within approximately three hours, but operations were restored earlier than expected.
PHC apologised for the inconvenience and thanked visitors and stakeholders for their patience and understanding during the disruption.
