GEORGE TOWN, October 19 — Penang is exploring new tourism opportunities in Northeast China following a meeting between state Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Wong Hon Wai and a delegation from Heilongjiang Province.

Wong said the state hopes to establish direct air links with Harbin and explore winter charter flights to attract Chinese tourists seeking tropical holidays.
