PETALING JAYA, May 31 – The new retail price for petrol RON95 and RON97 for the first week of June will deccreased by 2 sen per liter while diesel will decreased by 1 sen per liter which will effective at midnight tonight. The new prices will come into effect on Thursday until June 7. The new price after Goods and Services Tax (GST), the retail price of petrol and diesel for the first week of June 2017 is as follows:
- RON95 : From RM 2.12/liter to RM 2.10/liter
- RON97 : From RM 2.40/liter to RM 2.38/liter
- DIESEL : From RM 2.03/liter to RM 2.02/liter
The Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry posted the new weekly fuel prices on Twitter. Previously, Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin announced that a new weekly fuel pricing mechanism would be used from April onwards. — PN
