KUALA LUMPUR, December 23 – Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards (ACES) continues its pivotal role in promoting accountability in leadership and sustainability reporting within the business landscape. Over the past nine years, ACES has championed positive industry and employee-wide changes, highlighting corporations with outstanding ESG and sustainability accomplishments. This milestone year saw a record-breaking 580 submissions from 52 industries across 15 countries, with 82 winners emerging after a rigorous review process.

The Philippines led the winners’ list with 23 awards, followed closely by Malaysia with 15. Notable awardees included Somphote Ahunai, CEO of Energy Absolute Public Company Limited, recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year, Nisa Ismail, CEO of SEDANIA As Salam Capital Sdn Bhd, named Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, and Hoe Kian Choon, CEO of CUCKOO International (MAL) Sdn Bhd, honored as Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Ayala Corporations earned the title of Asia’s Most Sustainable Company of the Year. The ACES Institute, dedicated to Asia’s sustainable growth, focuses on research, expert insights, standards, and strategic alliances. In collaboration with Goeman Bind HTO, a non-profit international development, public policy, and law research think-tank, the ACES Goeman Bind Center of Excellence serves as a knowledge hub. The inaugural ACES Summit, themed “Actioning Asean’s ESG: A Vision for Sustainable Progress,” emphasized transformative actions for equitable, resilient, and sustainable business practices.
