PUTRAJAYA, December 12 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that new ministers to the federal Cabinet will be unveiled at 11 am today. Anwar mentioned that there will be “some” additional ministers as he plans to delegate some tasks he personally handled after taking office in November last year.
The expansion of the Cabinet is expected to enhance efficiency and distribute responsibilities more effectively. Prime Minister Anwar addressed the media after attending the Finance Ministry assembly in Putrajaya, confirming the imminent changes and emphasizing that the new additions would not significantly outnumber the existing ministers.
The move is part of the ongoing efforts to streamline governance and optimize ministerial functions for better governance and administration. This announcement marks a strategic step in Anwar Ibrahim’s leadership as he continues to shape the Cabinet to address the evolving needs and challenges faced by the nation.
