Tragically, one death was reported in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, last Sunday as a result of the flooding. In Pahang, 791 people from 187 families have sought refuge in 16 centers located in Lipis and Raub. Meanwhile, in Selangor, four individuals from a single family have been evacuated to a relief center in Kuala Langat.
The Department of Irrigation and Drainage has reported that multiple rivers in Kelantan, Pahang, and Terengganu have surpassed their danger points, heightening concerns about the ongoing impact of the floods. The situation remains critical, requiring continuous monitoring and response efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of those affected.
