PUTRAJAYA, January 10 – Through this announcement, I would like to provide clarification regarding the allegations made by Dr. Cher Han Lau, CEO of Accio Technologies, regarding his company’s involvement in the development of the Main Data Platform (PADU). After verification with the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), we can confirm that Dr. Cher’s claims are untrue.
Dr. Cher Han Lau was only considered in the capacity of upskilling human resources in the field of data science based on his expertise in big data and machine learning. The PADU development process, including data collection and cleansing, did not involve Dr. Cher or his company. I would like to emphasize that PADU was entirely developed by civil servants without the involvement of any third party.
