KUALA LUMPUR, January 15 – Generali Malaysia has introduced the Generali Malaysia Run 2024, aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle while contributing to the community. Scheduled to commence on May 19, 2024, at Dataran Putrajaya, the inaugural run follows the theme “Run with a Purpose.” In collaboration with three non-governmental organizations (NGOs) – PINTAR Foundation, Malaysian Nature Society, and National Cancer Society Malaysia – the run aligns with Generali Malaysia’s sustainability agenda, supporting social causes such as children’s welfare, environmental protection, and cancer awareness.
During the signing ceremony with NGO partners, Fabrice Benard, CEO of Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad, expressed the company’s commitment to being a “Lifetime Partner” by encouraging a healthy lifestyle and championing social causes. The run allows participants to choose from three different run T-shirts representing their preferred NGOs, fostering community engagement and creating awareness about the supported causes. Registration for Generali Malaysia Run 2024 is open until May 17, 2024, offering physical and virtual run categories across various distances.
