KUALA LUMPUR, January 24 – Ferrotec Holdings Corporation, a global leader in materials, components, and precision system solutions, celebrated the Grand Opening Ceremony of its cutting-edge manufacturing facility at Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. Facilitated by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), the plant focuses on electromechanical assembly and advanced material fabrication for semiconductor equipment, aligning with the Group’s global business expansion strategy.
The event, attended by esteemed guests, including Kedah Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Bin Md Nor, showcased the company’s commitment to contributing to Malaysia’s industrial growth and fostering innovation in the semiconductor landscape. The Kedah State Menteri Besar highlighted the region’s appeal as an investment destination, emphasizing its strategic location, skilled workforce, and supportive environment for companies. Ms. Lim Bee Vian, Deputy CEO (Investment Development) of MIDA, commended Ferrotec for choosing Malaysia, reinforcing the country’s position in semiconductor operations.
