KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 – Aveta Malaysia, a prominent local motorcycle manufacturer, assembler, and distributor, has demonstrated its commitment to education and community support by donating three Aveta Ranger Max Explorer all-terrain motorbikes to assist Cikgu Ben Zaid and his teaching colleagues in their efforts to educate children in a remote Orang Asli community in Kelantan.
The handover ceremony, held at a distinguished hotel in Mutiara Damansara, marked the beginning of a collaborative initiative titled “Off-Road Education Outreach: Teachers Rally with Aveta.” Cikgu Ben Zaid and his colleagues undertake a challenging journey of 60km through rough timber roads and jungle trails every weekend to reach and teach children in the Orang Asli community in Pos Balar, Kelantan.
These motorbikes, equipped with off-road features such as double piston disc brakes, dual-purpose tires, and high ground clearance, significantly improve the teachers’ travel experience, especially during the rainy season when trails become treacherous. Steven Lim, Managing Director of Aveta Malaysia, expressed admiration for the teachers’ dedication and emphasized Aveta’s commitment to supporting them in their noble mission, providing not only motorbikes tailored for rugged terrain but also a 2-year warranty for peace of mind during their educational journeys.*
