KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 – Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad officially declared tonight that the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan will commence on Tuesday, March 14. This decree, announced with the consent of the Malay Rulers and decreed by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim, follows the ritual sighting of the moon conducted earlier today.
