KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 – Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad has been discharged from the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) today at 11:30 am. Admitted on January 26, 2024, for treatment of an infection and observation, Dr Mahathir received medical care under expert supervision. His condition has notably improved during his stay, responding well to prescribed therapies.
Expressing gratitude to the dedicated medical team at IJN and appreciating the support from well-wishers, Dr Mahathir now continues his recovery at home under medical supervision. He remains optimistic and anticipates resuming his regular activities soon.
