BAYAN LEPAS, March 19 – Amari SPICE Penang epitomized the spirit of Ramadan by organizing a Bubur Lambuk distribution event for the Bayan Baru community on March 13, 2024. Spearheaded by General Manager Mr. Noorazzudin Omar and department heads, the team distributed 500 bowls of Bubur Lambuk at Masjid Umar Ibnu Al-Khattab’s Ramadan market as part of the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
Mr. Noorazzudin highlighted the initiative’s goal of fostering a culture of sharing, warmth, and community spirit, bolstering local connections. Crafted by Executive Chef Azmi Affandi and his culinary team, the Bubur Lambuk featured a cherished family recipe passed down from one of Amari SPICE Penang’s associates, embodying the essence of generosity and tradition during Ramadan. This CSR endeavor is poised to become an annual tradition, symbolizing the onset of the fasting month while reaffirming the hotel’s dedication to serving and enriching the community.
