KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil today reassured the public that the government has not drafted any agreements with the Opposition, contrary to recent claims made by Perikatan Nasional (PN). Addressing reporters after officiating the Ramadan CSR Initiative Ceremony with Foodpanda Malaysia and its partners, Fahmi clarified that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof’s meeting with Opposition representatives was solely to gather their perspectives on proposals and potential offers.

Fahmi emphasized that there are no drafted agreements, as suggested by the Opposition Leader and reported in Sinar Harian. He affirmed that the discussions thus far have been exploratory in nature, with no formal agreements drafted. Additionally, Fahmi highlighted that while the government has identified follow-up actions, including further discussions in future presidential council meetings, no substantive proposals have been received from the Opposition yet. He urged Opposition MPs to address any concerns about the pace of discussions with their leader, stressing that the government is committed to transparency and due process.
